Joining the “Payments & Activation”-team will be exciting for you, if you like to be part of a diverse team, whose scope ranges from ensuring stable and fast payment processing over frictionless merchant onboarding to getting them active. In other words, you get to work on the core of SumUp products, while drawing knowledge from a fast growing global team of analysts. Your mission is to think end to end, making sure that we having a robust analytical journey in this area. We will also rely on your expertise to improve our analytical capabilities to allow smaller cycles of testing and implementation. You will work hands on with the feature teams to improve the processes and make them more scalable.
In this position:
You’ll challenge and improve the overall KPIs and metrics that help us to control the activities for the whole area as well as specifically for its parts
You’ll identify potential to improve our solutions, be part of experiments to learn what works and deliver small increments of value to our merchants
You’ll provide insights in a consumer friendly way and establish a data culture in your team that is about self-service analytics, measuring what matters and acting upon facts
One of your first focuses will be to measure the success of our activation and self-service initiatives
You’re curious and adaptable and like to think holistically as well as going into detail.
You have an analytical mindset and enjoy having great autonomy in structuring your work as well as to come up with your own hypotheses
You have 3+ years of work experience in BI or product. Experience in payments industry, B2B or self-service web area is a plus
You have strong SQL skills. Experience on data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView is a plus.
You have worked with A/B testing and event tracking platforms before
You know your tools and systems that work for you and can guide small engineering teams to set them up correctly
You are fluent in English - you'll be part of a truly global company!
