You will join a group of highly motivated individuals who acquire new partners for SumUp; based in our Berlin office within the Sales & Partnerships channel.
We're looking for a Lead Generation Representative who will work closely with the Sales and Partnerships Management Team to assist our sales team prospect/generate new leads and qualify/follow-up with inbound opportunities. The candidate should have a hunter mentality and be proactive, self-directed and curious by nature.
The Lead Generation Representative understands and enjoys cutting-edge technology, prospecting, learning, and ultimately wants to establish a career in sales.
What you’ll be doing in this position
Collaborate closely with Sales Team to research, map out, pre-qualify and target strategic leads across our core markets, within our target audiences.
Strategically initiate the sales funnel including prospecting, scheduling & conducting sales calls and scheduling meetings for Sales Managers.
Assist in the consultative sales process by learning as much as you can about a prospect, uncovering their business needs and sharing that information with the sales team
Qualifying all inbound sales leads based on specific criteria and set up meetings to hand off to the relevant team.
Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities.
You have at least 1 years experience in a lead generation or sales development representative role.
You are fluent in English (verbally and written). Fluency in additional European languages is considered a plus - you'll be part of a truly global company!
You are self-driven, proactive, persistent, and have a can-do attitude.
You have completed a bachelor's degree.
You must have amazing organisational, analytical, and project management skills.
You must be willing to be located in Berlin full time.
