Know our Sales team

Our team's mission is to help small businesses across Brazil. At sales we interact daily with the SumUp Consultants (our 3rd party field salesforce spread across BR), familiarize ourselves with their challenges, help them overcome blockers and deliver solutions, while understanding new growth opportunities, developing sales strategies, delivering financial inclusion and professionalizing small entrepreneurs. In this role you will truly "live" the day-to-day of our everyday heroes - the SumUp Consultant -  and be able to understand the impact we have and how we change their lives.

What you’ll be doing in this position

  • Lead a team between 50-100 Sales Representatives spread across Brazil, by engaging daily over the phone with them and developing a strong communication channel;

  • Solve ongoing challenges and conflicts with our Sales Representatives, and identify growth opportunities;

  • Push for sales, create urgency, and establish individual sales targets;

  • Develop trainings, coaching and mentoring programs for our Sales Force;

  • Analyse sales teams performance and monitor sales KPIs;

  • Identify and support the development of marketing materials and strategies for sales.

Requirements

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.

  • Have analytical abilities with a pragmatic and strong "nose for value" & business judgement: we believe in managing sales teams with numbers ⇒ sales are made of analytics and process - not talk! ;)

  • Have 1-2 years of relevant work experience in sales such as: account managing, sales development, and inside/field B2C or B2B sales;

  • Be proactive and energetic - daily pushing sales and interacting with more than 100 Sales Representatives guaranteeing their engagment;

  • Effectively manage conflicts - this will be part of your day-to-day life when interacting with a large indirect sales force.

  • Leadership skills. Develop the Field Executive team and be their voice internally.

  • Have a problem/solving skills. Be able to identify problems and  be creative to solve them accordingly.
