SumUp is growing fast and is currently expanding into the consumer sector by offering different payment products. For this ambitious undertaking we are currently developing cross-functional teams of specialists from different professions working harmoniously together towards the goal of conquering the consumer payments market. At the moment, the consumer business team is missing a Business Intelligence Analyst in order to make quicker and better, data driven decisions in this fast paced industry.
In this role, you will work closely with the LeadBusin of the Consumer Tribe to develop and execute experiments in order to find product market-fit for our products all over the world. In a second step you will qualitatively and quantitatively analyze marketing campaigns on different channels in order to give on-going recommendations on how to optimize the customer journey and increase engagement + conversion along our complex funnel. You have an analytical mindset
You have previously proven that you can structure your work on your own as well as to come up with your own hypotheses
2+ years of work experience in BI or product. Experience in the payments industry is a plus
Strong SQL skills and experience on data visualization tools like Tableau
You are fluent in English - you'll be part of a truly global company
You’re curious and adaptable and like to think holistically as well as going into detail
Having ETL experience via tools or python scripts is a plus.
Having worked with A/B testing and event tracking platforms before is a plus
You’ll challenge and improve our KPIs and metrics that help us to control main activities as well as details
You’ll identify potential to improve our solutions, be part of experiments to learn what works and deliver small increments of value to our customers
You’ll provide insights in a consumer friendly way and establish a data culture in our team that is about self-service analytics, measuring what matters and acting upon facts
