Head of Performance Marketing & Automation 

The Marketing Team at SumUp is core to our mission to empower small business all over the world. As Head of Performance Marketing & Automation you will play a key role in the growth of SumUp within Europe, with the goal to establish SumUp as the first ever global card acceptance brand.

What you’ll be doing in this position

• You’ll be in charge of leading a team of channel experts and controlling the marketing campaigns across online channels as well as TV

• You’ll develop cross-functionally and in collaboration with the Country Managers our performance marketing strategy in line with business goals in the following marketing channels: Google Search/Youtube/Facebook/Instagram/Affiliate/Programmatic

• Build up and execute all of the marketing automation workflows cross channels

• You’ll drive the coordination and monitoring of campaigns across channels in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders 

• Identifying new growth opportunities and pursuing them.

• Identify and share trends and insights with stakeholders and with the entire company. 

• Work with the Country Managers, Brand, PR & comms, and Email Marketing teams and to create aligned consumer communications across all channels

You’ll be a great fit for this position if;

• You have minimum 8 years experience working in performance-based marketing

• Knowledge of industry best practices for marketing automation and the ability and desire to learn new tools quickly

• You have excellent working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g Google Analytics) and the ability to analyze data from multiple sources

• You have excellent working knowledge of tools like Facebook Ad Manager, AdWords, Taboola, Outbrain

• You are passionate about marketing & have a broad marketing knowledge - understanding how to leverage the different channels available

• You are self-motivated, proactive, resilient, pragmatic and have a can-do attitude.

• You are able to adapt to a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity and prioritizing your deliveries according to the business needs.

• You have previous people leadership experience You are proactive and respectful; you will play a key role in shaping our company culture

• You have excellent presentation and language skills (verbally and written) in English - you'll be part of a truly global company! Fluency in additional European languages is considered a plus
