Become a part of SumUp’s first Start-up within the company: the Point of Sale team. We are building and running an entirely separate software-as-a-service (SaaS) business around a Point of Sale Register product for our European markets. You’ll be joining an interdisciplinary and self-sufficient team solving problems around the topics of lead generation, sales, operations, logistics, customer experience, and marketing with the aim of making this business thrive.
As a Working Student in our Point of Sale Logistics team, you will be part of a small, independent team that is building and building an entirely new business for the company. Your job will be to support our team in setting up, packing and shipping our POS systems. In this role:
You configure, pack and send out our iPad-based POS systems and monitor their shipment
You are a significant part of the organization and management of a small warehouse of various hardware components in our office
You monitor and record incoming and outgoing shipments
You support your team lead in purchasing new components
You are constantly and actively looking for ways to make our processes even more smooth and reliable
You are a student and have up to 20 hours time a week to dedicate to us
You have a good general understanding of technology: Apps, IPs, and networks are not new to you.
You are well organized and reliable - you always keep an overview, even in times of chaos and you know how to prioritize between tasks
You are not afraid to pick up the phone to coordinate suppliers
You're friendly and you love to help.
You can communicate in English and have a basic understanding of German
