Conducting Officer - Compliance

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated and organised Compliance Conducting Officer.

What you will do**:**

  • Conducting officer responsible for local compliance management including the oversight of intergroup outsourcing partners, and acting as key point of contact with CSSF in connection with compliance related matters

  • Key stakeholder in the global compliance framework

  • Ensure that the compliance management framework complies with the local legal and regulatory environment, monitoring developments in that environment and informing relevant people of these developments

  • Responsible for the delivery of regulatory returns in Luxembourg

  • Develop, implement and communicate compliance related policies and procedures

  • Identify process/control weaknesses and raise issues and associated actions, where required. This will involve notifying responsible owners and providing sufficient oversight to ensure the issue is managed to completion

  • Support and advice on regulatory change to the business

  • Ensure all compliance policies and procedures are up-to-date and that new procedures are written where necessary

  • Be in charge of the creation and production of relevant compliance related management information

  • Ensure compliance with AML obligations

  • Be responsible for the preparation and implementation of a Compliance Monitoring Plan and execution of that Plan

  • Assist the Global Head of Compliance with the implementation of group policies within the Firm

Your Profile

  • University degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration or related

  • 5-10 years of experience in Compliance,

  • Knowledge of CSSF rules applying to Electronic Money Institutions and Payment Institutions is required

  • Previous Conducting Officer experience would be a plus

  • Strong open communication skills

  • Organised, analytical, pragmatic, solution orientated and able to execute in a changing environment

  • Ability to identify material issues and know when to escalate them

  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage ongoing work with ad hoc projects and deal with a variable workload
