The Merchant Growth Tribe’s mission is to build an ecosystem of simple yet powerful products for our 1.5 million+ merchants around the world which will help them grow their business. In addition to our core product, the Point-of-Sale (POS) application, the teams within the tribe also provide merchants with Invoicing and eCommerce solutions.
Beyond this, we aim to expand SumUp’s ecosystem with additional products and services such as accounting, marketing, loyalty and business analytics, all available in one place. The products we develop strengthen SumUp’s value proposition and our ability to serve small merchants around the world.
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive the hiring strategy of the Merchant Growth tribe across different locations in Europe.
What you’ll do
Work closely with the tribe’s leadership team in Warsaw, Berlin, Kyiv and Copenhagen to help them define their hiring needs and design their hiring strategy.
Drive the recruitment process end-to-end (recruitment system management, screening, interviews, offers, negotiations) and make accountable hiring decisions together with the tribe.
Recruit for roles across different departments and levels, focussing particularly on technical, senior and executive positions.
Add value to our recruiting processes by leveraging current trends in active sourcing and recruiting while recommending and driving improvements that impact local pipeline areas.
Drive projects for the continuous optimization and further development of the team and our governance, covering topics such as employer branding, candidate assessment, candidate experience, diversity and Talent Acquisition metrics.

You’ll be great for this position if
You’re experienced in tech recruiting, preferably with a background in start-ups or scale-ups.
You’re knowledgeable about standard (Linkedin Recruiter, Boolean search) and non-standard sourcing techniques (StackOverflow, GitHub, Dribble).
Candidates trust you and hiring managers consider you to be their counselor in recruitment matters.
You have strong interviewing skills–behavioural and technical interviews are part of your daily life.
You’re fluent in English–you'll be part of a truly global team.
You’re available to travel to different EU locations once per month.
