Senior Email Marketing / CRM Manager

SumUp’s Marketing team is composed by two main pillars. The first includes CRM, Public Relations, Brand, Content Management, Social Media and Product Marketing. The goal of this pillar is to make SumUp’s brand known to the world and empower our merchants to become true ambassadors of our products and company. The second pillar, Acquisition, has the goal to acquire new merchants and increase SumUp’s net revenue worldwide. This goal is achieved through strategically placed and creatively designed online and offline marketing campaigns.
What you’ll be doing in this position
Based on analytics you will fine-tune our user journey: from first ideas to implementation, you’ll make sure that our customers receive the right message at the right time on the right channel, while not overlapping with other campaigns
You’ll help CRM Managers to plan and execute campaigns for our customers via email, sms and push notification, incl. A/B-testing, defining & segmenting the recipients
You'll develop a communication strategy to increase retention
You’ll create reports, analyse and drive specific recommendations for action
You’ll set up surveys to understand our merchants even better
You’ll work closely together with other departments, e.g. Operations, BI, Product, Content Marketing,Design, CRM Administration, etc.
You have 4-5 years experience in planning and executing email campaigns
You have excellent written and oral communication skills and a great love for detail
You're fluent in English
You know how to set your priorities, work independently with a hands-on mentality & an eye for the big picture
You have a passion for technology and making the user experience as smooth & clear as possible
You have the ability to evolve in a fast-changing work environment
You have basic knowledge in HTML and CSS
Experience with Marketing Cloud is a plus
