Senior Qt Developer

It's such an exciting time to join SumUp! As our Senior Qt Developer, you’ll develop state-of-the-art payment terminals and terminal accessories by working closely with our embedded software developers, electrical and mechanical engineers, logistics, security and certification experts, test analysts, UI and UX designers, as well as other Qt developers.

You will help implement beautiful GUIs for our touch-screen, embedded Linux terminals. Working with such a multi-functional team provides excellent possibilities for growth and developing new skills of interest.

What you’ll do

• Define specification, implementation and testing of the GUI on an embedded platform

• Technical analysis, verification and validation of the software

• Execute code and architecture reviews to ensure the quality of implemented solutions

• Bring your experience to develop software on embedded operating systems and bare-metal systems

You'll be a great fit for this position if 

• You have successfully completed your studies in Computer Science or possess equivalent qualifications 

• You have 5+ years of professional experience in software development

• You’re enthusiastic and experienced on Qt and C/C++ 

• You have experience with Embedded Software Development 

• You’re confident writing tests; experience with Squish is a plus

• You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

• You’re passionate and excited to tackle new challenges every day
