Senior Offline Media Buyer
As part of the Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the voice of SumUp. We’re a diverse group working in the fields of Acquisition, Brand, CRM, Content, PR and Social Media. Together, we devise innovative strategies to grow SumUp’s brand, attract new customers and keep existing merchants excited about our products. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage the offline marketing budget (TV, OOH, Print, Radio) to scale brand awareness and sales for SumUp across Europe, in close collaboration with the brand team and respective country teams
Make decisions on placement location, type of media and vendor selection based on allocated budget and campaign objectives
Measure KPI and strategic value of offline marketing projects
Campaign optimisation: closely monitor and analyse the effectiveness of a campaign and use these insights for future campaigns
Manage negotiations and relationships with media-buying agencies and media owners
Keep up to date with industry research figures
Manage and develop a team of 2+ Offline Media Buyers
YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS POSITION IF:
You have 5+ years experience in offline media buying in Europe, especially TV, OOH and radio in both agency and e-business set-ups.
You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a similar area.
You have a proven track record of successful offline campaigns.
You deliver complex projects on time and budget.
You have successfully managed a team.
You’re self-motivated, proactive, resilient and pragmatic.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at prioritising your deliveries according to the needs of a business.
You’re driven by a passion for offline media.
You have excellent presentation and language skills (verbally and written) in English - you'll be part of a truly global company! Fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
