Our KYC Operations team sits at the heart of SumUp's ability to grow responsibly. We verify new and existing merchants, making sure the right businesses can access our products quickly and compliantly. This role is essential to keeping our process running smoothly — without it, merchants wait longer and our market risks falling behind. What you'll do:
Review and process verification cases for new and existing merchants, ensuring their onboarding is completed accurately and on time
Meet daily case targets while maintaining a high standard of quality
Work closely with senior agents and quality assurance colleagues to learn the ropes and handle cases with growing confidence
Navigate internal tools and databases to gather and validate merchant information
Flag any unusual patterns or issues to the relevant team leads
You'll be great for this role if…
Fluency in both English and Dutch, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Experience in a KYC, compliance, or customer support environment is a plus, though not essential.
Comfortable working with databases and digital tools, with solid general computer literacy.
A genuine enthusiasm for learning new processes and adapting to a structured, target-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing information.
