SumUp's Lending team is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to take us to the next level when it comes to credit risk in the digital world.
We are looking for someone who loves to take on a challenge, transforming data into meaningful insights and those insights into projects together with our international squads. We aim to raise the level of risk analysis at Sumup and consequently impact the lives of millions of small merchants. You'll be a key player in supporting SumUp's growing credit risk operations, we opened 4 new markets in 2024 and there are still more to come!
What you'll do
Drive our origination end to end (plan, execute, evaluate and monitor)
Track KPIs relevant to credit performance and identify key insights
Be accountable for risk metrics and portfolio performance on batch level
Lead the expansion of our product to new markets (Credit Risk related)
Communicate with different types of stakeholders, such as business leadership for the markets, internal financial teams, investors, amongst others, in order to guarantee clear alignment between our credit risk strategy and the overall SumUp business
Question and revise our credit risk strategies and processes seeking continuous improvement
You'll be a great fit for this position if
You have 3+ years of experience on Credit Risk functions defining policies for lending products
You’re familiar with and get excited about Data Science.
You work well autonomously and thrive in an agile environment
You are highly motivated, hands-on, focused and striving to learn and improve your skills
You have knowledge in SQL and you’re a data driven person
You have strong organisational and time management skills
