Our Lending team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to elevate our credit risk capabilities in the digital world. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you'll be a key player in supporting SumUp's growing credit risk operations, we opened 4 new markets in 2024 and there are more to come!
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Origination Ownership: Manage the complete credit origination lifecycle, from strategic planning and execution to continuous monitoring and refinement.
Performance Analysis & Insights: Track key credit performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and develop actionable insights to optimize portfolio performance. Take ownership of risk metrics and portfolio performance at the batch level.
New Market Expansion: Lead the credit risk aspects of product expansion into new markets, ensuring successful and sustainable growth.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including market leadership, internal finance teams, investors, and others, to ensure alignment between credit risk strategy and overall business objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively challenge and refine existing credit risk strategies and processes, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analysis and modeling techniques to inform credit risk decisions and strategy development.
You'll be a great fit for this position if
You have 3+ years of experience on Credit Risk functions defining policies for lending products
You’re familiar with and get excited about Data Science.
You work well autonomously and thrive in an agile environment
You are highly motivated, hands-on, focused and striving to learn and improve your skills
You have knowledge in SQL and you’re a data driven person
You have strong organisational and time management skills
