Account Management Team Leader (High-Value Merchants)

In this role, you will build, scale, and optimize a high-impact Account Management function to deliver personalized, proactive service to HVM merchants across Italy, France, DACH, and UK/IE.
What you’ll do:
Team Leadership & Coaching – Manage, mentor, and support a team of Account Managers to achieve performance and engagement KPIs through regular 1:1s and team meetings
Operational Management – Distribute workload effectively, provide structured onboarding for new hires, and ensure adequate training for all team members
Strategic Growth & Performance – Develop and implement revenue-driving strategies, advocate for process improvements, and foster efficiency across the team
Career Development & Employee Engagement – Establish clear career paths, oversee performance feedback processes, and implement action plans based on eNPS insights
Stakeholder Collaboration & Budget Planning – Represent the team in leadership meetings, manage the annual salary budget, and promote cross-team collaboration in line with company culture
What we’re looking for:
3-5 years of experience managing large accounts, with a proven track record of success
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
Strong sales, account management, and upselling expertise, with a results-driven approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus)
Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in monitoring KPIs, analyzing portfolio performance, and driving strategic improvements
