We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Logistics Squad, a small, cross-functional and co-located product team, building applications and services that help millions of small businesses thrive. The Logistics Squad is highly autonomous and we empower every member to have a significant impact on feature design, prioritisation and delivery.
The team’s mission is to create a seamless and transparent delivery and return process for all of the SumUp’s customers and internal stakeholders and to establish and maintain trusting relationships with them. As a highly-motivated and curious data analyst, you’ll be able to help shape the future of the team as well as the future of SumUp’s engineering and product organisation.
You’ll work closely with product management and engineering to bring the SumUp logistics experience to the next level. You’ll help strengthen our squad’s decision making by delivering insights into our product across the whole logistics journey.
What you’ll do
Support data-driven discussions within your team and across business areas, increase our data to produce insights and contribute to reaching and out-beating business objectives
Drive great decisions and controls by delivering effective and polished reports and dashboards, visualisations, and reports
Design, track, and forecast key product and business metrics
Contribute to further grow our ‘self-BI’ capabilities
Improve data literacy throughout the tribe by teaching and sharing best practices
You’ll be great for this role if
You have a degree in Economics, Business, Data Science, Computer Science or Engineering
You have 3+ years of work experience in BI or product
You’re experienced working with data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, etc.
You have strong SQL skills
You preferably have a knowledge of statistical analysis tools like R or Python
You have an analytical mindset
You enjoy having great autonomy in structuring your work and being enthusiastic
You have good communication and coordination skills
