Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

We give access to financial services to the millions of businesses that are considered too small for most providers. They’re as much as 10 times smaller than the smallest businesses that would be targeted by banks and traditional providers. What started out as one card reader has now turned into a range of readers, multiple remote payment solutions such as Invoices, Gift Cards, Payment Links and so much more.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be part of the team focusing on steering our overarching business strategy. This is a chance to create an impact globally by enabling SumUppers to be even more data-informed. You’ll have high visibility and access to data across all areas and levels of the business to help you in improving standardisation of reporting strategy and data visualisation.

What you’ll do;

  • Deliver accurate and reliable data reporting and analysis to steer overall business performance

  • Enhance SumUp's global business reports (e.g. improving and optimising dashboard usability and visualization)

  • Support the development and maintenance of our global measurement framework and best practices including but not limited to KPI library, data dictionary, data quality monitoring, and reporting strategy

  • Lead business intelligence projects end-to-end including strategy development, planning, execution & delivery, and documentation of learnings.

  • Provide insights in our data to senior management and become a trusted partner for them 

You’ll be great for this role if you have;

  • 5+ years commercial experience in an analytical role.

  • Advanced SQL skills.

  • Extensive experience working with Tableau (dashboard design and development). 

  • Experienced in turning data analysis into insights & recommendations for business partners.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels and enjoy stakeholder enablement.

  • Understanding of data governance and GDPR
