We are seeking a Data Analyst to strengthen the Online Payments tribe. The OP tribe is driven by a bold vision: to transform the way businesses and customers experience payments. What you'll do:
You'll be responsible for product analytics for the OP tribe.
You will create and maintain the tribe’s dashboards, monitoring KPI trends over time, and highlighting noteworthy changes to the relevant squads.
You’ll work on ad-hoc analysis to answer important product questions.
You’ll develop and lead a/b testing for new product features, providing the squads with recommendations based on the data.
You will monitor product and payment platform performance and provide PMs with updates and strategic recommendations.
You will collaborate closely with our data engineer to ensure that data is properly collected, stored, processed, and accessible for Online Payments business needs
You will build new models in dbt to be used for tribe analytics and reports
You’ll own the product analytics road map for the team, and drive strategic data OKRs aligned with SumUp's business goals
You'll be an excellent fit for this role if you possess:
Over 3 years of professional work experience in data analytics and in data model design, with experience in dbt and SQL, and collaborative development using Git
Hands-on experience in developing advanced dashboards following industry best practices, preferably in Tableau or Superset
Basic understanding of statistics, such as regression, classification, and clustering
Demonstrable experience setting up, monitoring, and managing A-B testing and experimentation processes.
Experience in the finance industry, with the capacity to examine Finance requirements across various functional areas and translate them into KPIs, insights, data models and dashboards
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, coupled with effective communication skills and a strategic mindset, enabling seamless collaboration with OP leadership
