Retail Brand Design Lead

Our team of 90+ designers and user researchers is split into three departments covering User Experience Research, Product- and Brand Design. All designers work embedded in product tribes, in market facing teams or as part of a Global Design team. We are building additional capabilities in areas including industrial design, motion design, data visualisation, UX writing and design operations.

What you're going to do

As Retail Brand Design Lead, you will support, mentor and lead the brand designers embedded in our retail and in-store execution team. 

You’ll collaborate closely with our trade marketing and business development team to shape and drive the creative strategy for our retail channel, facilitating strategic and pragmatic conversations about our marketing activities, their performance and creative direction.

As part of a Retail Design team you will be a hands-on contributor developing both digital and print materials for our retail partners. You will help drive the evolution of our processes and guidelines to educate fellow designers on how to best approach retail and packaging problems.

You are committed to the quality and continuity of our brand experience in retail.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience as a Brand/Marketing Designer and a minimum of 2+ years leading teams

  • Understand the art and craft of people management and have a proven track record of shaping a successful team

  • You have deep knowledge of brand and have in-depth understanding of print production.

  • You have proven experience with the entire design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solution, iteration)

  • Broad knowledge of visual and identity systems

  • Your excellent communication and presentation skills will help you ensure close collaboration within the team and the whole design chapter 

  • You are comfortable in English. Any other language is a bonus.

  • BA or MA in Design or related fields, or complementary studies with deep work experience in brand/communication design
