Visual Designer - Hardware Tribe

In the Hardware Tribe, we are passionate about creating beautifully designed card payment devices and accessories that enable our merchants to start, run, and grow their own businesses.

As a Visual Communication Designer you will use your creative skills to develop and execute delightful product experience across different hardware products in both digital and print medium. 

You will

  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, product designers, industrial product designers, supply chain specialists and developers, on a wide range of design projects from print to digital

  • Develop end-to-end packaging and printed products - including conducting marketing design research, ideation, prototyping and art-working for production

  • Collaborate with product designers and developers to design creative UI assets for softwares in the hardware products, including iconography and animation

  • Design visual and editorial materials for internal communication - e.g. company presentations, product launch merchandising items, prints and visuals that support external design research process

  • Coordinate photography shoots - including project plannings, storyboard, merchant visits, test shoot and on-site collaboration with photographer

  • Photography post-production: Create sophisticated photography assets for product launches and product development

You will be great for this role if

  • You have 2+ years of experience as a Brand/ Graphic/ UI Designer.

  • You are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.

  • You are very good with After Effects.

  • You have a strong design aesthetic with solid implementation skills on illustration, editorial design, typography, photography, and motion graphics.

  • You have demonstrated a creative and flexible approach - you provide more than one design solution for every task.

  • You are inquisitive and eager to learn.

  • You have a BA or MA degree in Design or related field, or complementary studies with work experience in visual communication.

Nice to have, but not a must:

  • You have an interest in user research.

  • You have UI Design experience.

  • You have experience with Figma and other UI softwares.
