About The Team
As part of the Experience Team you will contribute to our ambitious goals by making it extremely simple for merchants all over the world to use our invoicing and accounting products. You’ll work on our core services powering multiple client applications that help small businesses thrive. Today the team is spread across our 5 main offices (Berlin, London, Barcelona, Milan and Paris). The challenge is to have, at the same time, flexible and accurate processes that allow the company to grow fast with consistency. The SumUp POS innovation environment is also present in our routine, that means new challenges everyday to deliver the best experience.
The team includes 7 people today and will grow up to 11 in the upcoming months. It includes the business operations (projects managers, developer) and logistics and our objective is to create a streamlined flow for customers and internal teams (from acquisitions to finance) of the POS tribe.
What you’ll do
As part of the Business Operations team, you’ll be in charge of the technical aspect in the implementation of processes in our internal tools.
You will challenge the specs created by the projects owners and give workload estimations to build a realistic roadmap
You’ll be the referent for technical questions. Through your 360 degrees overview you’ll challenge the actual architecture and maintain it scalable and efficient.
You’ll implement the developments of these tickets
You’ll be great for this role if
You have experience in Node JS and worked on several projects with it
Experience in APEX on Salesforce is really appreciated as experience with Stripe
You’re fluent in French and English - You'll be part of a global team, additional languages would be considered a plus.
You love to work on processes and automations
You can explain a complex issue with simple words
You have a go getter attitude, there is no problems, only solutions
