Our new Global Expansion tribe is building something unique and we’re looking for a QA Engineer to help us launch and scale new markets (LATAM, APAC, EMEA). Our team is in charge of defining strategy and delivering products and services to those targeted markets.
We leverage all product features built within SumUp and adjust and localise them for new markets using our acquiring and banking partners – from a merchant’s first user experience in our app, to making their first sale, to getting their first payout. The Engineering Expansion squad within the tribe focuses on making the experience seamless, intuitive and hassle-free.
What you´ll do
Help the team to maintain and automate test cases for the core payments platform
Drive the team effort to maintain and build CI/CD pipelines and help to implement a Dev-Ops engineering culture
Build and test system components needed for the production support
End-to-end testing of new payment integrations like credit cards across different markets
Collaborate with other tribes to develop a cross-product integration strategy to recognise use cases and acceptance criteria Identify opportunities to improve, scale and automate our QA process
You´ll be great for this role if
You’ve worked as a QA engineer for a SaaS company and know your way around Selenium, Jenkins and Kubernetes.
You have experience in Python, JVM-based languages or Go, Elixir as well as their respective test strategies and -frameworks for unit tests, component tests and integrations tests
You understand testing and quality methodologies and best practices and are able to teach them to others.
You have experience with frameworks for automated testing or benchmarking on different levels (unit tests, system tests)
You have experience in web application and API testing and working with agile methodologies like scrum.
You have a good understanding of technical specifications and know how to analyse production issues.
