Ensure a sound decision process and alignment with the engineering strategy of the tribe resulting in interoperability, open standards and scalable infrastructure
Create a healthy dynamic between our teams located in Sofia (R&D) and Berlin (Business), which will include calls, meetings, common working tools and working agreements for all engineers in the Tribe
Coach and develop Engineering Managers, hire new team members where needed and be an authority alongside already very experienced engineers and leaders
Serve as a liaison with other Tribes and central SumUp teams to ensure Merchant Bank is represented and its needs from other teams are addressed
Represent the SumUp Merchant Bank in front of external parties as a CTO
