Group Treasury Expert

We're seeking a strategic Group Treasury Expert to join our growing team in Berlin. This is a newly created role, driven by the increasing complexity and e.g. significant savings potential of implementing a group-wide cash pool. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our treasury strategy, focusing on internal funding and cash management.
What you’ll do
Strategic Liquidity Management: Develop and execute comprehensive liquidity planning and forecasting for the SumUp Group, considering transfer pricing guidelines, capital requirements, and global entity structures.
Global Funding Optimization: Design and implement an efficient internal funding structure, ensuring alignment with global strategies, contracts, and procedures.
FX Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a FX strategy to support SumUp's international expansion and currency management.
Cash Pool Implementation & Optimization: Drive the implementation and ongoing optimization of the group's cash pool, identifying and realizing significant savings potential.
Funding Innovation: Evaluate and implement innovative in-house funding mechanisms across different continents, challenging the status quo.
Treasury Infrastructure Enhancement: Drive projects to improve infrastructure, enabling the optimisation of SumUp Treasury activities, including the implementation of a TMS System
Investment Management: Act as a strategic partner in investment decisions, collaborating with asset managers and contributing to investment policy and risk assessment.
You’ll be great for this role if
You have proven track record in Treasury: Liquidity Management, cash flow forecasting, cash pooling, Intercompany funding, Bank Administration
You have excellence in project management, managing multiple parallel projects with different levels of stakeholders
You have a problem-solving mentality and strong analytical skills
You are data-driven, being able to analyse data, translate it into actionable steps and use it to tell a story
You are highly organised with attention to detail and a passion for delivering improvements.
