As Head of Countries, you’ll have the unique opportunity to drive SumUp’s growth in the Nordics markets. Headquartered in Berlin, these countries represent emerging opportunities and excite us with their potential. You’ll be responsible for growing and successfully positioning the SumUp services in your region.
What you’ll do
Define and execute a clear, mid- and long-term go-to-market strategy for our region in line with SumUp’s mission and business objectives
Respond over the P&L and ensure your campaigns and measures are carried out in a data-driven manner and with a clear ROI goal
Match products and services to relevant merchants and define a marketing and sales channel strategy to reach them
Continuously identify new growth opportunities
Ensure your existing customers are the happiest on the market and strategically upsell them other relevant products and services
Implement and continuously improve data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies to foster activation, retention and engagement of your existing customers in close collaboration with the respective teams
Work closely with the Customer Care Teams as well as Product Owners to ensure campaigns and products are meeting your customers needs
Lead, inspire and coach a team of highly motivated experts in the areas of Online Marketing, CRM, Design, Content, Brand as well as other sales channels to help them develop and grow
Create a respectful and collaborative environment in your team
You’ll be great for this role if
You have 12+ years of general management and leadership experience in dynamic and ideally multi-product environments.
You have a proven track record of exponentially scaling products across various marketing and sales channels in high-growth companies.
You have a deep understanding of multi-product environments and associated platforms and technology.
You’re excited to work in a start-up environment: comfortable managing ambiguity in our matrix structure, leading change, aligning stakeholders and helping the team do the same delivering world-class results.
You’re a leader who balances pragmatism with visionary leadership.
You have influential coaching communication skills and can present vision in an articulate way that inspires teams and other leaders.
You possess a founder's mentality; you’re an innovative thinker, truly data-driven, able to quickly recognize opportunities and apply your expertise to deliver scalable solutions mastering a fast-paced environment.
