As an iOS Engineer of the SuperApp squad, you’ll be building the systems that help our merchants to get up to speed, use and discover SumUp's wide range of products. You’ll henceforth have a great impact in the lives of the more than 4 million SumUp merchants all over the world! All of this with state of the art technologies and in a collaborative environment.

You’ll be great for this role if

You have hands-on experience building complex mobile applications
Proficient in Swift and familiar with MVVM/MVP for scalable architecture, as well as experience ensuring modularized and scalable app architecture
You care about user interaction and usability, and have attention to details
You love coding and take the time to reflect on all aspects of your implementation, be it the frameworks, languages, or processes
You strive for clean code but also know how to be pragmatic when needed
Passionate about knowledge sharing and mentorship
Provide thoughtful and comprehensive documentation and testing for your features before shipping them
You communicate effectively and excel in technical writing
You prioritize simple, well-designed abstractions and APIs

About the team

The SuperApp team (Growth Tribe) mission is to enable and activate newly signed-up merchants, ensuring that they are guided through first product usage based on their preferences and help them become aware of our product ecosystem, understanding how our different products work together.

We drive this mission across three platforms (web, iOS and Android) and we build and maintain all the microservices required to achieve it. The features we build have a great impact and are used by millions of SumUp merchants all around the world.

At SumUp, all squads are cross-functional and co-located product teams. We empower every member to have a significant impact on feature design, prioritization, and delivery. You’ll be able to help shape the future of the team as well as the future of SumUp’s Engineering and Product organization.
