Senior Marketing Analyst - CRM Marketing 

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join our CRM Marketing team and help to transform the function into an efficient and data hungry customer insights hub for SumUp. You will work closely with our CRM Marketing managers, Country and Product teams on their campaigns, focussing on building predictive models to improve segmentations and targeting of communications, as well as supporting the team on evaluating the impact of campaigns and providing best practises for measuring statistically relevant experiments.

This role sits within our Marketing team and reports to our Head of CRM Marketing. We’re a diverse group working in the fields of Product Marketing, Online Marketing, Brand, CRM, Content, PR and Social Media. Together, we devise innovative strategies to grow SumUp’s brand, attract new customers and keep existing merchants excited about our products. What you’ll do

  • You'll develop a vision to enable data autonomy for the CRM Managers and the leaders of the business area including a new generation of standard reports

  • You'll apply data modelling to build algorithms to identify growth opportunities within our base and help teams to better segment their audiences 

  • You’ll consult the CRM community on how to evaluate the impact of CRM campaigns and identify learnings that can be used as benchmarks for future activities for countries and/or products

  • You’ll ensure data informed decision making and organizational learning by defining success and failure conditions for CRM experiments

  • You’ll identify potential to improve our data solutions, provide input and best practises on experiments to learn what works, so we can incrementally improve our value proposition in each key European market

  •  You’ll work closely with the Analytics Chapter, Data Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Product teams to coordinate and formulate requirements for the integration/migration of datasets for marketing communications.

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have 5+ years of work experience in Marketing Intelligence and analytics . Experience in FinTech industry or B2B area is a plus

  • You have experience on managing a team and have driven individuals and teams to grow and supported the production of remarkable data products 

  • You have previously proven that you can structure your work on your own as well as to come up with your own hypotheses

  • You have strong SQL skills and experience on data visualization tools like Tableau or Google DataStudio

  • Your tech and data processing experience via tools or python scripts allow you to implement MVPs and to work hand in hand with the data engineering team

  • You're comfortable using Google Analytics and BigQuery

  • You are fluent in English - you'll be part of a truly global company!

  • Experience with Airflow is a plus
