You will work as part of our Online Marketing team, helping to transform the function into an efficient and data hungry acquisition hub for SumUp. You will work closely with our Performance Marketing managers and Country teams on their campaigns, focussing on helping to improve on our value proposition pitch, price points and best practises for measuring statistically relevant experiments.
This role sits within our Marketing team. We’re a diverse group working in the fields of Product Marketing, Online Marketing, Brand, CRM, Content, PR and Social Media. Together, we devise innovative strategies to grow SumUp’s brand, attract new customers and keep existing merchants excited about our products. In this position:
You’ll ensure data informed decision making and organizational learning by defining success and failure conditions for marketing experiments
You’ll evaluate the impact of specific offline marketing campaigns (e.g. regional tests) and identify learnings that can be used as benchmarks for future activities/countries
You'll develop a vision to enable effective self-service for the performance marketeers and the leaders of the business area including a new generation of standard reports
You’ll identify potential to improve our technical solutions, provide input and best practises on experiments to learn what works, so we can incrementally improve our value proposition in each key European market
You'll apply advanced data analysis and leverage our predictive analytics tools to give recommendations to the teams, for instance regarding pricing elasticity and seasonal campaigning
You'll formulate requirements for OLAP data design and data migration
You have 4+ years of work experience in BI and Marketing. Experience in payments industry, B2B or self-service web area is a plus
You have previously proven that you can structure your work on your own as well as to come up with your own hypotheses
You have strong SQL skills and experience on data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView.
Your tech and data processing experience via tools or python scripts allow you to implement MVPs and to work hand in hand with the data engineering team
You worked with A/B testing and event tracking platforms before
You're comfortable using Google Analytics and BigQuery
You are fluent in English - you'll be part of a truly global company!
