Lead People Partner

Our SumUp office in Berlin is currently hiring for the position of Lead People Partner (People Team) to join our Global People Team.
The main purpose of this role is to actively build a healthy and effective People team and lead initiatives aimed to improve employee experience across People Team.
Areas of focus:
Own employees’ lifecycle and employees' relationship management within People Team
Build and take ownership of People Partners on-boarding journey
Drive talent & feedback processes across the People Team and work closely with the People Leaders to build a high performing team
Oversee & understand the People Team’s dynamic and metrics: attrition, talent density, hiring, promotions, eNPS.
Operations management: offer support for all people roles in terms of operational topics, monitor and improve existing policies and frameworks in order to improve employees experience and remove blockers
Emergency management: partner with People Partners and Managers across People Team to provide immediate fixes to acute emergencies
Build cadence with the People organisation and be connected to the rhythm of the team
Research good practice in the market that SumUp People team can learn from
The People Team
As part of the global people team, you will help us build one of the best companies to work for in the world. When candidates become SumUppers our Employee Experience team makes sure they have an engaging work environment where they feel comfortable to experiment and innovate. Alongside our People Development team, they guide SumUppers through their learning journey, allowing them to unlock their full potential.
7+ years of experience as HRBP in a fast-paced environment, previous experience as HRBP for People function is an advantage.
An international mindset
Sound generalist HR experience at advisor level, proposing and implementing bold changes in the organisation
Functional experience with HRIS and digital tool
Project management experience and preferably experience in implementing and managing company wide HR projects or programs
Excellent stakeholder management and leading through influencing
Data-driven, able to analyse data, translate it into actionable steps and use it to tell a story
A learning mindset and a high level of resourcefulness and determination
Fluent in English is a must and German is a plus.
