As a Payroll Manager in our People Operations team, you will play an active part in our payroll team and prepare, review and execute our monthly payroll for Germany, which includes over 800 employees!
You will help us to take our people data reports to a new level, while ensuring that our employee information is always accurate. We are an agile, fast paced business and we always aim to deliver the best experience for our employees. What you’ll do:
Ensure employee personal data is kept up to date and track new & leaving employees as well as monthly variable data
Support our employees with all requests related to payroll, eg. change of tax class, certificate of work, yearly income tax documents
Communicate with external providers, eg. health insurances, our pension provider, Agentur für Arbeit and tax offices
Contribute as part of the monthly reconciliation with our accounting team in Sofia
Administer our payrolls and control incoming and outgoing payments
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
You’ll be great for this role if:
You have experience working in German Payroll with knowledge of German employment law and social security
You are fluent in English with additional German language skills
You are an excellent communicator with active listening and interpersonal skills
You love working with people and care about great employee experience
You know how to prioritise to meet deadlines and know when to ask for support
You are able to work in a fast paced environment, where accuracy matters
