Sr. Facilitator & Development Specialist

As a Senior Trainer and Development Specialist, you’ll join the People Team of Europe which supports a growing population of 1100 SumUppers across 11 countries. You’ll be instrumental in enabling the growth of SumUp across the globe.
You’ll focus on equipping SumUppers with the right skills by identifying different populations' needs as well as those for the broader organisation, and curating and building programs and interventions to improve the effectiveness and unlock potential.
What you’ll do
Identify training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, surveys and regular conversations with People Partners and business leaders
Work with the People Partners (HRBPs) and different areas of the business in Europe to ensure we equip the organisation with the right skills at the right moment
Design, deliver and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the organisation and the individuals
Produce training materials for classroom and evaluate training and development programs
Offer support and coaching to your fellow People Development team members and be a true advisor to the organisation for their learning and development needs
In a second moment you will potentially build your own team of facilitators
Engage and collaborate with External Vendor for ad hoc solutions in collaboration with the L&D Lead
You will be great for this role if
You have a proven work experience as a facilitator: 5+ years with a track record in designing and executing successful training programs (assess needs, plan, develop, delivering, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) for different target audiences.
You have familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, workshops, simulations etc.).
You’re able to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities.
You have great interpersonal communication skills with the ability to implement pragmatic solutions tailored to meet specific business needs.
You have worked with external vendors to collaborate on projects and are comfortable negotiating and representing SumUp’s interests and needs with them.
You have an agile approach and enjoy working in hierarchy-free, cross-functional teams.
You’re passionate about continuous feedback and learning.
You’re comfortable with falling fast, learning from that failure, and sharing that learning with others.
You have experience managing a small team of experts (this is not essential, but would be considered a plus).
