As the Accounting Analyst, you would be working directly with the finance and accounting team of Latin America, as well as being the pivot point for providing info and insights regarding controlling and accounting to support both operations and strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Setting up accounting procedures of an early-stage business 

  • Review the accounting routines (banking, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, inter-company balances, fixed assets, accounts payable, and others), prepared by outsourcing supply.

  • In charge of revenue accounting

  • Provide balance sheet reconciliation

  • Prepare the info for weekly payments

  • Control performer (mainly general ledger controls)

  • Prepare ad-hoc reports

  • External/Internal audit assistance

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have a degree in accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting (IFRS).

  • You are a fast-learner and self-starter. You'll be working at a Fintech: be prepared to run things outside of your scope and do not expect us to have all the answers you need.

  • You are data driven, creating advanced spreadsheets and coming up with conclusions/recommendations.

  • Excellent excel skills is a must. Python and SQL to automate manual tasks and extract data would be greatly appreciated.

  • You have experience providing information and attending the external/internal auditors.

  • You are fluent in Spanish and English - you'll be working in a truly global company.

  • You have an ownership behavior and an unquiet mind, always questioning the “status quo” and getting the team to the next level.

  • ERP experience required (SAP is a plus).

  • You have previous experience at a Big4 company is a plus.
