General Job Description

The Growth team is characterized by having a self-driven and decisive mindset, strong business understanding, being proficient in analysis tools, and having daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders, such as Product, Operations and Marketing. As a Performance Marketing Analyst for our rapidly expanding team in Colombia, you’ll play a key role in launching and scaling SumUp in the country by devising and executing strategies to meet ambitious growth targets, targeting and developing customer segments through paid acquisition tactics, and uncovering valuable insights to help shape our value proposition. 

As a Performance Marketing Analyst, you will: 

  • Devise, develop, and execute digital marketing campaigns across a variety of channels (Facebook and Instagram, Google Products, etc.), interacting daily with performance marketing platforms to conduct experiments, find better solutions, and implement improvements; 

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis across channels and campaigns, identify opportunities for growth and optimization, and generate actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making on a permanent basis;

  • Support the creation and automation of reports covering detailed performance metrics, such as CTR, CPM, ROI, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and conversion rates;

  • Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team setting (Operations, Support, Logistics, Product, CRM, Creative, etc.) and engage with internal and external stakeholders across diverse geographies; 

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our value proposition, business model, and key performance indicators to help optimize our Online Marketing strategy in alignment with our overall business goals;

  • Be empowered to remain at the forefront of the market by deeply understanding all Online Marketing channels and bringing in new channels/ways of expanding our merchant base.

You’ll be great for this position if:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in performance marketing.

  • You have expertise and prior usage of tools like Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), and programmatic media buying (expertise in native advertising platforms like Taboola and Outbrain are a plus). 

  • You have expertise in leveraging web analytics tools (e.g Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.) and are able to analyze data from multiple sources. 

  • You have a pragmatic approach and a truly data-driven and analytical mindset.

  • You are self-motivated, proactive, resilient, pragmatic, and a team player with a can-do attitude. :) 

  • You are able to rapidly adapt within a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity and prioritizing your deliveries according to evolving business needs.

  • You are fluent in Spanish and English - you’ll be part of a truly global team. :) 

  • You have worked in fintechs or startups.
