Operations at SumUp is where the rubber meets the road. Once a merchant signs up, it is up to the operations team to ensure an excellent customer experience is continuously delivered. Making sure merchants receive their proceeds on time, providing excellent customer support, and understanding how merchants are using our product are all key aspects of what happens within the Operations team. 

We’re currently looking for an Operations Analyst to join our team and take part in one of the most important aspects of SumUp’s value proposition. 

What you’ll do in this position: 

Operations Analyst typically work in our Operations team, providing support to the different areas of the business, with a big focus on Payments. In all those teams, you will:

  • Analyse data and rollout projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Exercise your analytical skills: bring your hypothesis; let’s test them together!

  • Work closely with different teams in a collaboratively environment to bring the best possible experience for our merchants

  • Operate and manage key operational tasks that happen on a periodic basis

  • Conduct data-driven business analytics to support and make recommendations on strategy and key strategic initiatives for the business 

  • Manage data related projects, and cultivate and enhance relationship with stakeholders.

You’ll be a great fit for this position if:

  • You speak fluent Spanish and English - you’ll be part of a truly global team :)

  • You a have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • You have strong analytical skills and feel comfortable with a vast amount of data

  • Excel ninja skills is a must.  

  • You are familiar with the basics of SQL and interested in learning more

  • You are highly motivated, hands-on, focused and striving to learn and improve your skills

  • You have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - you are able to communicate ideas and concepts with team members from a wide range of countries and cultures, and to build strong and productive relationships.
