The Growth team is characterized by having a self-driven and decisive mindset, strong business understanding, being proficient in analysis tools, and having daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders, such as Product, Operations and Support. 

General Role Description

We’re looking for a team player to join our growth team and help us build and grow the offline sales channels from scratch, increasing the sales of our card readers and other products from Leticia to La Guajira.

As an Offline Acquisition Specialist in our rapidly expanding team in Colombia, you’ll play a key role in launching, testing and scaling offline acquisition channels, such as direct sales and partnerships, to target and develop customer segments that contribute to our ambitious growth targets and help us uncover valuable insights to help shape our value proposition. 

What you’ll do

  • You will help design the go to market strategy and execution, to transform the offline channel into one of our main acquisition channels.

  • You’ll get the opportunity to build a huge sales force of partners (sales reps) from scratch.

  • You will negotiate with retailers and/or other sales channels that you consider will drive our card reader sales.

  • You will help to build partnerships with local entities to spread the use of our products to every merchant that will benefit from it. 

  • You’ll work with distributed teams in Brazil, Chile and Europe to learn from their experiences and have their support iterating on different ideas.

  • You will own offline channels business metrics (sales, acquisition costs, activation rates, among others).

  • Execute data-driven decisions to increase sales, define next projects, and work on continuous improvement 

  • Create tools to measure impact and ROI of each MVP initiative or project and constantly review strategy based on results.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our value proposition, business model, and key performance indicators to help optimize our Offline Acquisition strategy in alignment with our overall business goals.

  • Be empowered to remain at the forefront of the market by deeply understanding all offline channels and bringing in new channels/ways of expanding our merchant base.

  • Foster a collaborative culture between areas and within the team.

You’ll be great for this position if

  • You have at least 4 years of experience of which at least one of them is being the sponsor/responsible for leading a large project from start to finish.

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in Business Development, Commercial or Growth roles.

  • You’re a doer, and/or not afraid of beginning a project from scratch. 

  • You have a structured approach to ambiguity - dealing with uncertainties is exciting for you and you can easily structure the unstructured.

  • You are able to rapidly adapt within a fast-paced environment, prioritizing your deliveries according to evolving business needs.

  • You have strong stakeholder and project management skills.

  • You have a pragmatic approach and a truly data-driven and analytical mindset.

  • You are self-motivated, proactive and a team player with a can-do attitude.

  • You are fluent in Spanish and English - you’ll be part of a truly global team. 

  • You have worked in fintechs or startups.

  • Advanced excel is a plus.
