Head of SumUp Sales Consultant Program

Your impact at SumUp

As the Team Lead for the SumUp Consultant Program, you’ll be taking over the SumUp Consultant team. You will join our mission in expanding SumUp’s core business by establishing the Sales Consultant Program as a major sales channel in the USA. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing scaling strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and representing the Consultant team.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Build and grow the SumUp Consultant Program

  • Lead and manage the cross-functional Consultant Program team

  • Ensure the scaling and acquisition of our direct sales agents 

  • Collaborate on program initiatives with different stakeholders, such as channel optimization and content creation

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Consultant Program with a hands-on mentality, ensuring the success of the program’s independent sales consultants

  • Ideate, strategize and outline hypotheses to be tested on a weekly basis

  • Plan and set OKRs with the team and on an individual basis

  • Coach and enable team members to grow on a personal and professional level

  • Find new and innovative approaches to grow the consultant channel and program

  • Set relevant KPIs for the program and its stakeholders, and allocate resources accordingly

You’ll be great for this role if you:

  • Have at least 3+ years of relevant work experience in a high-performing and fast growing startup environment

  • Highly motivated, resilient, and entrepreneurial with the ability to find creative solutions in highly adverse situations

  • You’re flexible and have excellent interpersonal skills

  • You’ve previously proven that you can structure your work on your own as well as come up with your own hypotheses

  • You’ve previously proven that you structure your work autonomously

  • Can visualize the big picture with the ability with the ability to take action in the details

  • The ability to adapt to rapid change

  • Ability to perform duties with accuracy and a strong degree of urgency

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Any of the following are considered a plus

  • You’re confident in Salesforce and Tableau

  • Extensive experience in the Direct Sales Industry

  • Experience in the payments industry, B2B or self-service web area, or Risk and Antifraud
