SumUp's Implementation Specialists will be tasked with ensuring that merchants receive excellent customer service and that their needs are met. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This role is a crucial part of SumUp's Customer Experience team with a primary focus on implementing POS systems for new sales and upgrades of merchants. As an Implementation Specialist, your responsibility includes gathering the merchant's POS catalogue and inventory data, providing proper training on the POS system, and following up with the merchant. You will be responsible for onboarding both new and existing merchants and ensuring they receive excellent customer service.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess exceptional customer service skills and be able to build value for our POS products. Your performance will directly impact the success of the merchants you onboard, and their satisfaction is crucial to our business. Therefore, you must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills.

In summary, as an Implementation Specialist, your primary goal is to ensure that our merchants have a smooth onboarding experience, are trained appropriately on our POS system, and receive exceptional customer service.

Interested and Qualified candidates should have the following to be considered:

  • Customer service, soft skills include team work, collaboration, passion, and a positive can do mindset

  • Logical, self-guided problem solving

  • Technical experience or similar training environment experience is highly preferred
