Senior Pricing Strategy Manager

As the Senior Pricing Strategy Manager, you will be part of the EU GTM Tribe and play a key role in driving strategic pricing decisions and aligning pricing tactics across the teams that enhance the company's competitive position and drive growth. You will be looking after Card Reader hardware pricing and Fee pricing and will work on new Revenue streams such as SaaS pricing.

This role is a crucial part of SumUp as you will work closely with Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and all other Multi-Product tribes to drive forward the existing pricing tasks and develop a new pricing strategy for different merchant segments, products and countries within the European region. You will report to the Pricing Strategy Lead Europe. 

What you'll do

  • Collaborate in the development of a multi-product pricing strategy, focusing on product adoption, new revenue streams development, profitability and acquisition

  • Collaborate in Fee Pricing strategy focused on long-term retention and revenue growth

  • Build models to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability

  • Analyse competitors' pricing and market trends, synthesising findings and insights to understand competitive positioning and areas of improvement

  • Design analytical-driven A/B tests focused on driving positive margin growth and acquisition

  • Designing reporting tools that help the teams to make better decisions from pricing perspective

  • Identify growth opportunities through data analysis and problem-solving  

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have proven experience in Pricing Strategy or Revenue Management 

  • You are a strategic commercial thinker with outstanding analytical skills 

  • You can run analysis on complex data sets and have experience in SQL

  • You have experience running Pricing A/B Testing experiments

  • You are a self-starter who has experience working in highly cross-functional teams 

  • You are an excellent communicator, guided by clarity and structure
