As part of the People team you will be responsible for global HR routines and daily cooperation with the Finance team. We have a truly international team spread across 13 countries! The challenge is to have, at the same time, flexible and accurate processes that allow the company to grow fast with consistency.
You will also help us to take our people data reports to a new level, while ensuring that the employees information are always accurate. The SumUp innovation environment is also present in our routine. That means new challenges everyday to deliver the best experience for our employees.
Your key responsibilities:
Leading the People administration in our UK and Ireland offices
Supporting the preparation and reconciliation of the monthly payroll
Assistance with work permits as well as the relocation process of international employees
Guidance and consultation of employees in matters like parental leave, relocation, and many more
Ensuring that records, contractual changes and other people related documentation are processed and recorded
Manage external providers, eg. pension provider, health insurances
Continuously defining and improving HR processes, helping us implement new tools and driving projects company-wide
Supporting and guiding junior level colleagues
What you are bringing to the table:
You have experience working in HR administration, accounting or payroll management, preferably as HR Generalist or similar
You have a good knowledge in British regulations related to the Labour Law. Experience with Irish Labour Law will be a plus
You are an excellent communicator with active listening and interpersonal skills
You love working with people and care about great employee experiences
You know how to prioritise to meet deadlines and know when to ask for support
You are able to work in a fast paced environment, where accuracy matters
Have full autonomy (for real!) to propose, lead and implement changes that will up our game.
