Fantastic opportunity for a lead development representative with some sales or customer service experience to take on a brand new role within Goodtil by SumUp. With a super successful and growing sales team, this role will help support the team by qualifying inbound leads from our various marketing channels. These leads would then be passed onto the UK&I sales team for closing; this role would be perfect for someone who is organised and thrives on dealing with people, in what is often a fast paced environment.
Goodtill by SumUp point of sale (POS) is a software provider based in the UK specializing in cloud based POS solutions, including loyalty and online ordering applications. Businesses use Goodtill by SumUp POS software and services to help them scale and provide great customer service to their customers. Recently acquired by a global payments organization, Sum Up, we are now adding new services to their product line and are expanding their teams across the UK and Ireland, with a view to scale even faster. This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team at Goodtill by SumUp.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has a lot of get up and go, can manage their own time effectively and in line with KPIs. Reporting the sales team leaders, you will be expected to be based from the new London office in Covent Garden.

What you’ll do
Contact inbound leads according to the expected targets
Pay attention to the engagement time to contact incoming leads in the shortest time possible
Rely on company tools to capture qualification information in a standardized way and maintain high data quality
Promote the company ecosystem and manage potential objections to strengthen future customer engagement
Convert maximum qualification calls into appointments for the sales team, in line with sales objectives
Reactivate leads when appropriate
Strong telephone presence and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Listening and presentation skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
Self-starter, highly motivated, goal oriented, fearless, ambitious, team player
Previous experience in the FnB (food and beverage) sector is a plus
Data driven to make the right decisions
