About The Team
This position will report to the Head of People Ops EU & Rewards Latam and initially will not have direct reports. Ina and Milena Stoyanova from People Ops team will be peers to this person. The structure is currently divided by leads that oversee payroll ops + people ops for a specific set of countries they are responsible for.
As part of the People team you will be responsible for the global HR routines. Today the team is spread across our 3 main offices (Spain, Italy and France), The challenge is to have, at the same time, flexible and accurate processes that allow the company to grow fast with consistency.You will also help us to take our people data reports to a new level, while ensuring that the employees information are always accurate. The SumUp POS innovation environment is also present in our routine. That means new challenges everyday to deliver the best experience for our employees.
What you’ll do:
Be the first point of contact for employees, once the job offer is accepted and support them through the entire employee lifecycle
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as People Partners, Payroll Partners, Finance, Legal, IT
Support our employees with all requests related to onboarding, contracts, labour law questions, benefits, etc.
Play an active part in defining and implementing people related policies
Prepare and process data and documentation related to Hiring, Onboarding, Salary progression, Promotions, Terminations, Absences, Time management, Disciplinary procedures and any other information concerning the employees.
Monitor all employee changes, make sure they are reflected on our HRIS and precisely executed
You’ll be great for this role if:
You have previous experience as Human Resources Specialist, Generalist, Administrator or similar
You have French, Italian and Spanish Labour Law knowledge
You are fluent in English and French, Spanish skills are nice to have
You have worked extensively with HR systems, preferably workday
You are an excellent communicator with active listening and interpersonal skills with a high-level of collaboration in- and externally
You love working with people and care about great employee experience
You know how to prioritise to meet deadlines and know when to ask for support
You are able to work in a fast paced environment, where accuracy matters
