Software Engineer II (Golang)

Team Description

Our Risk & Compliance team is dedicated to ensuring the security and integrity of our financial services by proactively identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities. We work collaboratively across different regions and functions, leveraging technology and data-driven insights to build scalable, efficient, and reliable risk prevention solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain risk checkpoint services to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.

  • Improve existing fraud prevention systems by enhancing efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and risk analysts to identify fraud patterns and optimize detection strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for financial risk management.

  • Enhance service documentation and implement quality checks on data, schemas, and fraud models.

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have experience building, deploying and maintaining real-time, high-throughput, low-latency microservices.

  • You have strong experience with Golang development and a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

  • You are comfortable working with microservices architectures, messaging systems like Kafka, API design, database solutions, networking, scalability, monitoring, and logging.

  • You are proficient in working with data-driven fraud detection strategies, machine learning models, or rule-based systems.

  • You have strong English communication skills and can clearly explain technical concepts to collaborate effectively with your team.

  • You excel in problem-solving, teamwork, and fostering a strong feedback culture built on trust and respect.

  • Experience with Python and domain knowledge in risk & fraud prevention are considered a plus.
