Role Description and What is Expected: Our field sales team is a recently developed sales channel with more than 300 people in the team, and currently the main acquisition channel for SumUp in Brazil. The plan is to continue investing and growing this channel, including the multi-product sales (bank, credit, POS in the future). This manager is the accountable leader for the entire channel, hence a critical position for SumUp.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for managing the internal field sales channel monitoring team performance, and creating strategies to maximise company sales and revenue.
Directly manage key leadership roles within the FVI team, including sales, projects/events, and training, as supporting functions for the sales team
Ensure strong alignment with key stakeholders in the project such as product, sales intel, growth ops, pricing, commercial strategy, and People, among others.
Ensure merchants' feedback is heard by relevant stakeholders within SumUp as per interactions with the field sales team, contributing to the SumUp's long-term commercial and product strategy success
Your profile:
Demonstrated success in a field sales role, ideally from the hospitality and retail industry or other point-of-sale solutions
Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets & deliver outstanding results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and foster long-term client relationships.
Ability to build and development the team
In-depth knowledge of your market and a genuine passion for supporting local clients.
