Team Description
Our tax team plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s compliance with current tax legislation, while continuously improving processes to support business growth. The team operates with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and problem-solving, with members who thrive in dynamic environments. We are a collaborative and results-driven team, directly reporting to the Tax Coordinator to promote individual growth and streamline operations.
What you’ll do
Perform monthly closing routines for indirect and withholding taxes, ensuring proper classification, bookkeeping, and delivery of obligations.
Identify and recommend areas for process improvement and automation within accounting.
Support the team in issuing manual electronic invoices and responding to internal support cases.
Assist in maintaining internal controls, including tax actions, notifications, and controlling supplier payments.
Collaborate with different teams on process improvement and automation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of implemented systems.
You’ll be great for this role if
You have strong Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
You have experience in tax compliance and monthly closing routines, preferably in indirect and withholding taxes.
You can identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to streamline workflows.
You have a critical-thinking mindset and can solve problems independently while working with teams to implement solutions.
You have the ability to adapt to changes, particularly related to tax reform.
