Team Description
The SumUp transaction monitoring team plays a crucial role in detecting and preventing suspicious financial activities, ensuring compliance with international and local regulations. We work collaboratively, handling a high volume of cases in a dynamic and accuracy-driven environment. What you’ll do
Analyze and investigate suspicious transactions to identify potential financial anomalies and compliance risks.
Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) as required by regulators.
Ensure timely review of alerts within the deadlines established by the Central Bank.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes, improve risk detection, and optimize monitoring scenarios.
Stay up to date on money laundering trends and regulations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
You’ll be great for this role if
You have previous experience in transaction monitoring analysis and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
You have knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines established by the Central Bank and other financial authorities.
You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify patterns and potential irregularities.
You are proactive and capable of working independently, efficiently managing time and priorities.
You have advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders worldwide.
