The SumUp transaction monitoring team plays a crucial role in detecting and preventing suspicious financial activities, ensuring compliance with international and local regulations. We work collaboratively, handling a high volume of cases in a dynamic and accuracy-driven environment. What you’ll do

  • Analyze and investigate suspicious transactions to identify potential financial anomalies and compliance risks.

  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) as required by regulators.

  • Ensure timely review of alerts within the deadlines established by the Central Bank.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes, improve risk detection, and optimize monitoring scenarios.

  • Stay up to date on money laundering trends and regulations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have previous experience in transaction monitoring analysis and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

  • You have knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines established by the Central Bank and other financial authorities.

  • You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify patterns and potential irregularities.

  • You are proactive and capable of working independently, efficiently managing time and priorities.

  • You have advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders worldwide.
