Our Payments Product team is responsible for ensuring that the core of our operation (Transactions, Settlements and Reconciliation) runs smoothly, keeps compliant and is at their best to allow the small business owners to do what they love and trust that their business’ payments are being taken care of.
As a Payments Product Specialist, we expect you to bring expertise to our acquiring operations, ensure it is compliant to regulatory demands and leverage our technologies to ensure that the best products are available to our merchants.
What you’ll do
Focal point between BR team and EU Team
Engage with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, such as global engineering teams, vendors and chambers of payments as CIP
Ensure the day by day Reconciliation process
Ensure those projects are delivered according to schedule by working closely from concept to delivery with different teams;
Work in a hands-on way with the team;
Explore new ways of improving existing services, products and processes.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if
Know the many players and their roles in the Payments Industry in Brazil and has experience in partnering with them;
You have 2+ years of experience as a Payments Specialist directly managing payout and recon process
Are able to manage hard trade-offs and prioritise what is best for the company as if it was yours, considering both hard and soft inputs;
Constant interaction with product teams were part of your daily job;
Aligning expectations with both executive sponsors and external stakeholders sounds familiar to you;
You are fluent in Portuguese and and advanced (or fluent) in English - you'll be working in a truly global company;
You have a Data mindset, are detail oriented and have a great Problem Solving skill.
You have strong analytical skills and feel comfortable getting your hands dirty dealing with a vast amount of data.
SQL fluency is a plus
