Warehouse Associate (Temporary, Part-time)

Who you are:  

SumUp is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to help the SumUp team part-time for several months in our Santa Clara Warehouse. 

SumUp is building the future of the payment world while making a positive impact on the community and small merchants. In this role of Warehouse Associate, you will manage the assembly, kitting, and fulfillment processes of our hardware from our San Jose (CA) warehouse. In addition, you will collaborate with Hope Services, a non-profit organization that supports people with developmental disabilities, and work alongside their clients to complete your tasks.

This is a part-time temporary position in Santa Clara, CA

What you’ll do:

  • Manufacturing: Oversee our team of clients assembling hardware bundles. Prepare hardware parts, delegate roles within the team, and monitor for process accuracy.

  • Shipping: Fulfill daily orders before the cutoff time.

  • Assemble Hardware: Follow the established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to complete the assembly of the SumUp hardware.

  • Perform Functional Tests: Follow the established SOP to complete the hardware functional tests.

What we're looking for:

  • You have 1+ years of relevant work experience.

  • You’re extremely dependable.

  • You’re extremely organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in your work execution.

  • You have a high quality standard and strive to uphold it.

  • You are able to lift 40 lbs.

  • You have excellent speaking and reading skills in English. 

  • Basic computer skills.

 Compensation and Schedule: 

  • This is a temporary role from Feb 3rd to March 28th, 2025.

  • Tue, Wed, and Thur from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

  • $21-$23/hour.

  • Compensation will be finalized based on the candidate’s experience.
