Accounting Analyst

What you’ll do

  • Setting up accounting procedures of an early stage business

  • Provide analysis to identify opportunities in inventory management and revenue accounting, and propose improvements in these processes.

  • Review the accounting routines (banking, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, inter-company balances, fixed assets, accounts payable, and others), prepared by outsourcing supply.

  • Provide balance sheet reconciliation

  • In charge of billing process

  • Review of general ledgers

  • Prepare ad-hoc reports

  • External/Internal audit assistance

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have a degree in Accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting (IFRS).

  • You are a fast-learner and self-starter. You'll be working at a Fintech: be prepared to run things outside of your scope and do not expect us to have all the answers you need.

  • You are data driven, creating advanced spreadsheets and coming up with conclusions/recommendations.

  • Excel ninja skills is a must. Python and SQL to automate manual tasks and extract data would be greatly appreciated.

  • You have experience providing information and attending the external/internal auditors.

  • You are fluent in Spanish and English - you'll be working in a truly global company.

  • You have a ownership behavior and an unquiet mind, always questioning the “status quo” and getting the team to the next level.

  • ERP experience required (S4/HANA is a plus).

  • You have previous experience at a Big4 company is a plus.
