Sofia is where the heart of SumUp’s payments platform beats since our early start-up days of a fintech helping small merchants accept card payments.
It’s being developed by a team known as the Payments Tribe, which consists of several squads. One of the squads is growing and now needs an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the team that takes care of an area we call Activation. It’s the first touchpoint of our customers with SumUp. We strive to provide seamless activation experience, to engage merchants in early usage, to build habits and love for the product.
You would be very experienced in people leadership, with hands-on approach to daily challenges. You are well versed in situational leadership and can exhibit different leadership behaviors from demanding to coaching and inspiring. Like us, you also believe squads should be cross-functional and autonomous to be able to take an aspect of a product and perfect it end-to-end from concept to execution.
