Stock Options Program Associate

Our SumUp office in Sofia is currently hiring for the position of Stock Options Analyst to join our Finance team, supporting the Global Virtual Stock Options program SumUP recently launched .

Main responsibilities:

  • Key administrator for SumUp\`s virtual stock options system, managed via Shareworks 

  • Maintain the existing records and include new allotments in Shareworks system 

  • Retrieve regularly standard or customized reports from Shareworks and communicate the data with the respective stakeholders 

  • Respond to questions regarding the Shareworks system and the general idea and specifics of Virtual Stock Options program at sumup 

  • Serve as the principal on-site resource for virtual stock options program queries, disseminating information throughout the business units as required. 

  • Organize the approval of future options 

  • Work closely with the People/ HR team globally to generate files with new allotments and import them promptly in the system 

  • Translate stakeholders\` requirements into reporting deliverables and prepare the correct sets of reports 

  • Meet deadlines and quality expectations on quarterly reporting deliverables for IFRS 2 Maintain and further develop existing reporting portfolio, provide support to management team 

  • Organize trainings for the key stakeholders regarding the virtual stock options plan, system changes and improvements, and implement additional training, policies and procedures as needed 

  • Ensure all the documentation and policies related to Stock options program at SumUP are kept up-to-date and that new procedures are implemented where necessary. 

  • Responsible for accounting JEs for the Holding companies (eg. Expenses, revenue, general ledger entries as monthly accruals, provisions, payroll,etc.) 

  • Monthly BS Reconciliations (Prepare) 

  • IC Reconciliation and recharges

Requirements:

  • Completed course or level of education in Business related subject, Accounting, Business

  • Administration, International Business, Finance or other relevant area

  • 2+ years of professional experience in the field of reporting, accounting and business analysis

  • Fluency in English - written and spoken

  • Enhanced knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word)

  • Commitment, very high level of work ethic and integrity

  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and cross group collaboration skills

  • Very good presentation skills, experienced in leading in-house training sessions

  • Team player - able to interact with colleagues at all levels

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Very good analytical skills - previous experience in preparing and analyzing reports will be considered as strong advantage

  • Initiative

  • Previous experience with stock options or other compensation/incentive programs is ideal but NOT required
